Stephen joined the Company in September 2017 as a senior adviser and was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director in November 2018. Stephen was appointed as a bankruptcy registrar (Judge) of the High Court in 1996 and as chief bankruptcy registrar in 2004, he retired in 2017. Stephen has also been consultant for Moon Beever LLP since November 2017. He has a PhD in Law and was admitted as a solicitor in 1981 and as a licensed insolvency practitioner in 1985. Stephen is a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, an honorary member of the Insolvency Lawyers Association and honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.

Peter joined the Company in November 2018 as Non-Executive Chairman. He is also Non-Executive Director of the Science Group plc. From 2004 to 2015, he was Chairman of Phoenix IT Group plc. He has held a variety of senior Non-Executive positions in public companies in the security, IT and media sectors including AttentiV Systems Group plc, office2office plc, Anite Group plc, Timeweave plc and Psion plc. Peter was senior Non-Executive Director and chair of the audit committee at Microgen plc between 2006 and 2017. Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute.

Graham joined Manolete in September 2020 as a Consultant for the Yorkshire region. Graham qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and practised for the whole of his career at the Leeds offices of Addleshaw Goddard. Graham has specialised in all aspects of insolvency law since the advent of the Insolvency Act 1986. He has long been recognised by Legal 500 as a ‘leading individual’ in the field. Henry joined Manolete Partners PLC in January 2020. He was previously part of the Restructuring and Insolvency team at Mayer Brown International LLP. Alison led the team at Howes Percival acting for HMRC for 5 years and had a number of cases reported which relate to insolvency and commercial litigation. She has been recognised in the Legal 500 top tier for both categories of insolvency and dispute resolution. In May 2020 Alison was also appointed a Deputy District Judge to the Midlands Circuit. From 1989 to 2004, he was a Partner at Kroll Buchler Phillips, practitioners in corporate recovery and restructuring. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Association of Business Recovery Professionals. In October 2018, Mr Manning became a consultant for Resolve Group UK, a restructuring and advisory firm based in London. Lee also chairs the Manolete Board’s Audit Committee.

James Martin Associate Director
James joined Manolete in January 2020 as a Consultant working alongside Roger Dugan in the Midlands region. Immediately upon qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1987 with Coopers & Lybrand, he moved into their restructuring practice, Cork Gully, working in Birmingham, East Anglia, Nottingham and the Potteries. He was successively head-hunted by Begbies Traynor, Moore Stephens and Crowe before relinquishing his Insolvency Licence in 2018 to concentrate on turnaround and non-exec roles. He is a Fellow of both the ICAEW and R3, remains close to the Restructuring community and is keen for Manolete to expand their help to practitioners in pursuing actions for creditors' benefit.

Nick O’Reilly, FCCA, FIPA, FABRP, joined Manolete in November 2019. His role is focused on business development in the insolvency litigation practice area. Nick started his insolvency career in 1980 at the Insolvency Service. He qualified as a Certified Accountant in 1987. Over the last thirty years Nick has worked at partner level for Rothman Pantall, Levy Gee, FRP Advisory, H W Fisher, and Moorfields Corporate Recovery. Nick lectures widely on all aspects of business recovery and has acted for the Crown Prosecution Service and HM Customs & Excise in Confiscation and Restraint Order Receiverships. Jeremy has worked for Manolete since 2015 responsible for Government policy, marketing and media communications. He worked for the Home Office for 15 years, advising ministers and senior officials on policy matters. In 2007, Jeremy gained a post-graduate Diploma in journalism and has been published across several national titles. Having spent around 15 years in in-house company secretarial roles, Bernadette established her own consultancy business, Chadwick Corporate Consulting in 2005, specialising in providing company secretarial and corporate governance services. Charlotte is Regional Associate Director, based primarily in the South West and Wales. She is experienced in complex commercial disputes with specialist expertise in property, negligence and insolvency. Charlotte qualified as a solicitor in 2009. In December 2018, Charlotte joined Manolete from national firm Burges Salmon LLP where she worked on high profile retail and property insolvencies. Charlotte is an Associate Member of R3, INSOL Europe and Women in Property.

Nick O'Reilly Associate Director
Nick O’Reilly, FCCA, FIPA, FABRP, joined Manolete in November 2019. His role is focused on business development in the insolvency litigation practice area. Nick started his insolvency career in 1980 at the Insolvency Service. He qualified as a Certified Accountant in 1987. Over the last thirty years Nick has worked at partner level for Rothman Pantall, Levy Gee, FRP Advisory, H W Fisher, and Moorfields Corporate Recovery. Nick lectures widely on all aspects of business recovery and has acted for the Crown Prosecution Service and HM Customs & Excise in Confiscation and Restraint Order Receiverships. Nick is a former President of R3 and has expert knowledge on all aspects of personal and commercial insolvency issues.

Neil Stewart Associate Director
Neil is a Regional Associate Director based in the South of England. Since qualifying as a solicitor in 1998, Neil has specialised in commercial dispute resolution and contentious insolvency. He is an experienced advocate who previously worked for Versiona Law Solicitors. Neil has considerable experience of working on complex, frequently multi-party litigation. He is an accredited mediator, an R3 council member and has lectured widely on insolvency matters.

Dominic Vincent Associate Director
Dominic Vincent is Associate Director for the North West. Dominic has over 20 years of experience as a solicitor in all aspects of insolvency and corporate recovery law. In private practice he was a partner with Weightmans solicitors and most recently helped establish the legal practice of a national insolvency and restructuring group. He has been recognised in Chambers as a notable practitioner and in the Legal 500 for both personal and corporate insolvency. Dominic is a member of R3 and the Insolvency Lawyers’ Association. He has had numerous articles and pieces published in various legal and national publications and journals. Dominic’s focus is on the northern insolvency market and he is based in Manchester.

James Bull joined Manolete in September 2020 as Assistant Director – Finance. He began his career in the RSM London audit team in 2013 and qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant in 2016. James moved to the RSM London due diligence team in 2017 where he spent three years leading financial due diligence on businesses in the mid-market.

Jeremy Sare Marketing and Policy Consultant
Jeremy has worked for Manolete since 2015 responsible for Government policy, marketing and media communications. He worked for the Home Office for 15 years, advising ministers and senior officials on policy matters. In 2007, Jeremy gained a post-graduate Diploma in journalism and has been published across several national titles. He has helped a variety of companies develop policy and effectively manage their media exposure. Jeremy also acts as the Company’s Information Officer.

Bernadette Young Company Secretary
Bernadette is Manolete’s independent Company Secretary. Bernadette qualified as a Chartered Secretary in 1994 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA). Having spent around 15 years in in-house company secretarial roles, Bernadette established her own consultancy business, Chadwick Corporate Consulting in 2005, specialising in providing company secretarial and corporate governance services. She is the author of The ICSA Corporate Governance Handbook.
