The Manolete Approach

First stage: 72-hour Commercial Review

Simply send us an email to our Chief Executive Steven Cooklin ( with any or all of the following:

• Short case/claim summary (dates, amounts, brief reason for the claim)

• Statement of Affairs is always a useful background document

• Any correspondence with the debtor sent by you or your lawyer

• Counsel’s advice or opinion, if available

• Supporting key evidence


Or if it is more convenient, we are more than happy to arrange to visit your office to review the files at a time to suit you. We commit to get back to you within 72 hours with our initial views.

Second Stage (if needed): Free Review by Counsel

For most cases we can be decide in-house whether to proceed with the case within a few days. However, if a Counsel’s opinion is required, we can arrange that and will pay for it entirely, with no commitment on your part whatsoever. Counsel review usually takes no more than one week.

If Counsel is positive we will immediately make you an offer to buy or fund the claim. If you accept our offer, we then send you our straightforward Sale and Purchase Agreement or Funding Agreement which has been used numerous times by your IP and lawyer peer group.

If we or Counsel do not deem the case to be viable, we promise to share the reasons with you fully. If you are later challenged on why you did not pursue a claim, you will be fully armed with the rationale. Naturally there would be no cost to you, it is included as part of our business model.
